Scholarship amount

Pakistan's government has launched a project to provide monthly stipends to females enrolled in public schools in 16 districts, including Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bakhar, Chiniot, DG Khan, Jhang, Kasur, Khanewal, Leh, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Okara, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Wahari. Students who qualify for this course will get stipends of up to Rs. 1000 per month.

The requirement to maintain at least 80% attendance prevents stipends from being given out more frequently than once every three months. Furthermore, following successful biometric verification, new students enrolled in these schools will be eligible for the stipend. The project aims to give financial aid to female students while also encouraging continuous school attendance.

This project has a total of 700,000 beneficiaries.
